2026 Legislative Session: What We Fought For

This session, BIABB stood alongside the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) in advocating for priorities that protect and strengthen our industry across the state, including:
  • Housing Affordability & Availability — Supporting policies that help meet Florida’s growing housing demand
  • Reducing Regulatory Burdens — Fighting unnecessary rules that slow down builders and raise costs
  • Protecting Property Rights — Defending the rights of property owners and developers
  • Workforce & Growth — Encouraging policies that support industry workforce needs and responsible development
  • Pro-Business Climate — Promoting a stronger environment for builders, remodelers, and industry professionals to succeed
These priorities are led by FHBA’s legislative team, and as a BIABB member, you’re part of that effort through your 3-in-1 membership with FHBA and NAHB.
